Should I invest in HVAC maintenance or wait for a new installation?
This really depends on the age of your current HVAC system. If you have a newer system, then maintenance is going to help your HVAC last longer and operate more efficiently in the meantime. However, if you have a unit that’s older than 10 years, it might be time for an upgrade. Our technicians can assess your system during our visit and make the best recommendation for your home.
What is Zone Control?
Zone Control is what you can have when you invest in a ductless HVAC system for your home. With a ductless system, you can set the temperature of each room to your desired level. This is perfect for families who have different temperature needs as well as homeowners looking for a highly efficient way of heating or cooling their homes.
Should I have my ducts looked at regularly?
Along with maintaining and servicing your HVAC unit, you should have your ducts assessed and maintained regularly. After all, your ducts are responsible for circulating the air through your home; if they’re dirty or leaking, then you’ll notice poor-quality air and higher heating/cooling bills.
What are heat pumps?
Heat pumps are all-in-one heating and air conditioning systems that keep you comfortable year-round. During the winter, these units will pull the heat from the outside air and send it into your home to warm your house. In the summer, the heat pump works just like any other air conditioner by collecting the heat in your home and transferring it outside. These units are highly efficient and can be paired with additional resources for greater heating and cooling needs.
